What does it mean to experience spiritual captivity? “Dictionary.com” defines Captivity as “the state or period of being held, in prison, enslaved or confined.” Synonyms are bondage, servitude, slavery, and subjection. Antonyms are Freedom, Liberty, and Independence.

Spiritual captivity destroys one’s sense of purpose while promoting: “Identity Theft.”
It seeks to have one lose all hope according to the world’s standard.

Your “To Do”LIst

Share your story especially if you’ve been stuck in shame and surrounded by any of the walls mentioned or not that barricade you in and keep others out.
If you are hurt and wounded on the inside and want to ask the Holy Spirit to help you forgive today, come on up! We can pray with you! Jesus loves you.
If you have never accepted Jesus Christ into your heart and would like to do so today for the first time, perhaps this message spoke to you, come on up today!
If you are not certain of your salvation and would like to confirm it today, come on up! Jesus wants to meet your EVERY need at the altar. He is waiting for you.
If you are in your living room and thinking to commit self-harm today, Jesus is speaking to you right where you are. He is saying, Son, or daughter, I love you. Simply believe in your heart today and confess with your mouth, that Jesus is Lord! You can also repeat after me:

“Lord, I come to you today and recognize that I am a sinner.

I believe that you died on the cross for me and you rose again for my sins.

I ask your forgiveness Jesus. I invite you to come into my heart by faith today,

and I renounce my old ways. I welcome you as Lord over my life today in Jesus’ Name.”

Our God is mighty to save.

He can save supernaturally as in my case, through divine encounters by his Holy Spirit.

The primary way that he has given us--IS: to SHARE OUR STORY- your testimony.

No matter what you are going through right now, Your God is in Your Midst!

No matter your shame right now, Your God will give you, HIS fame!

No matter your Spiritual Captivity right now, Your God is able to set you free!

Revelation 12:11 tells, “that we overcome Him by the blood of the lamb and the word of Our Testimony.”

Spiritual Self-Care

SURRENDER your will as you have done life your way all these years and still do not have peace in your life. You have a void for love that only God can fill because God is love. (1John 4:8)

CRY OUT to God and let him know that you are ready to give him a try. Don’t worry about what you did. There is nothing neither too big nor too small for him to handle. He is God, he can handle it. Believe that Jesus died and rose again for you. The Bible tells us that you were the joy set before him why he endured the cross.

ACKNOWLEDGE your issues, that you have not always listened to “that voice” in your heart that told you, “Don’t do that!” So, repent and tell him, from your heart, that you confess Jesus is Lord. Romans 1:20 tells us that humankind is without excuse that they do not know God as their heavenly father.

BE REMORSEFUL and let God know that you are sorrowful for not heeding his directives, his commandments, and that you would like to “get things right” with him. You give up trying your way.

BELIEVE in your heart that God came to Earth in the form of man (Emmanuel- “God with us”) as Jesus to be with you and demonstrate his undying love towards you. You are more than worth it. There is nothing more joyous for your Abba, father, than to see you prosper in EVERYTHING your hand touches in this life.

CONFESS and surrender your life. This means that you are denouncing any and every false idol(s) of preeminence in your life to date. I have to tell you that Satan is not going to be happy, but there is NOTHING he can do about it. He is already defeated. It’s a “fixed fight” and you already won through the Blood (sacrifice) of Jesus that holds ALL power against him.

INVITE Jesus into your heart, tell him to come and take up residence in your life through the Holy Spirit, now living within YOU. “Won’t He Do It!?” You have been bought with a price, ransomed and redeemed. Don’t look back!

ASK GOD to direct you to the bible-based church he wants you to attend to grow in Him amongst other Citizens of his Kingdom. He will direct you. Remember ECIM is here for you as well.
